Stephanie Girten, Registered Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager:

Stephanie is a Mesa College Animal Health Technology alumni who has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2008. She has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2010. She has worked in small animal practice and also has experience treating “special pets” like rabbits, guinea pigs hamsters and rodents. She is a mom of 2 girls that enjoy gardening and Fallbrook farm life. Stephanie has worked with Dr Love for over 7 years and is now the Practice Manager of North Orange Veterinary Clinic. She has 2 dogs named Cosmo and Titan as well as 8 chickens.


Jennifer Petersen, Registered Veterinary Technician, Shift Lead:

Jennifer is an RVT who has been working with animals for 11 years. She was born and raised in Southern California and her husband is a US Marine. Jennifer has a dog and 2 cats. Her passions include veterinary medicine, crocheting, hiking, and she is a novice gardener.


Martha, Veterinary Assistant

Martha has worked in the veterinary field since 2015 and has always had a passion to work with animals. She attended Mira Costa College and received a certificate for Veterinary Assistant. She has been with her high school sweetheart since 2006 and they are looking to add another 4 legged family member to their home since losing their cavalier in August 2020. She enjoys relaxing at home, watching TV and Netflix. If it involves a murder mystery show, she is hooked. When she is not working at North Orange Veterinary Hospital, you can find her at the casino!


Melissa, Veterinary Assistant

Melissa has been in the veterinary field for 7 years. Shortly after finishing school she started her journey in Las Vegas and now in Southern California. She has three energetic dogs at home who keep her on her paws. When she’s not caring for your fur babies she enjoys hiking, going to the beach and eating a lot of ice cream.

Jacquey, Veterinary Assistant

Jacquey is a lifelong pet lover who has owned many dogs over her life. She is compassionate about caring for pets and their owners as demonstrated by her vast experience in helping pets and humans in their time of need.

Jacquey has worked as a dog trainer for over 25 years, providing personal training to owners for obedience and puppy training. She has had the honor of assisting in training and agitation for the Oceanside and Carlsbad Police departments working with the dogs and the handlers. In addition, she also understands the art of compassion through her experience in helping to launch a new venture called Friends Forever Pet Cremation in San Marcos. She ran the office and provided comfort for pet owners in their time of sorrow and prides herself on helping the owners say goodbye to their beloved pets.

Jacquey also worked at the local San Diego Chapter of the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) where she trained and managed volunteers to help people deal with traumatic events that have occurred in their lives. Her calming voice and expertise put 100’s of people at ease while providing comfort and solutions to manage their grief and anxiety.

Jacquey brings this wealth of experience to North Orange Vet to help the staff provide professional medical care for North County pet owners.


Colette, Client Service Representative

Colette has a passion for all animals including her dogs Pizza and Steamer. Pizza is a special pup who has a neurological disorder and loves mom's special touch. Steamer enjoys chewing anything and everything. She is one of our amazing Client Service Representatives that is bubbly and adds a fun vibe to client service.


Jonathan, Veterinary Assistant

Jonathan is the oldest son of the Smith family who started North Orange Veterinary Clinic. He has been helping his dad with Veterinary Medicine for over 10 years.


Judith Lynch, Veterinary Assistant

Judith graduated from the PIMA Veterinary Assistant program and is looking forward to furthering her education in the Veterinary medicine field. She has 2 dogs; Clover is a German Shephard mix and Kahlua is a Golden Retriever/Australian Shephard mix. On her days off she enjoys being a mom to Ezra, her son and reading.


Lindsey has been working in the Veterinary field for over 15 years and has a true
passion for working with animals. She has 2 dogs and 2 cats of her won and recently
added her first fur grandbaby to her family. She also has 4 kids and loves her days
off adventuring with them.



Daniella has always had a passion for animals and since working here, has switched majors in order to pursue going to veterinary school. She has cared for many animals at home and currently has two dogs and a hamster. In her free time, Daniella enjoys scuba diving, going to the beach, hiking, and traveling.



Erica has been working in the veterinary field as a registered veterinary
technician for 13 years. She enjoys working with with dogs, cats, exotics and pocket pets. She has two rescue pets named Ivy (dog) and Babs (cat). On her days off you
might find Erica at the beach with her husband and two children, camping or
enjoing a good book.
